MOM'S CHRISTMAS EVE OYSTER STEW image

Number Of Ingredients 7

2-4 tbsp butter
1 1/2 pints oysters w/liquor
1 1/2 cups milk
1/2 cup cream
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper or paprika
2 tbsp chopped parsley

Steps:

  • Combine butter, oysters, milk, cream, salt and pepper in the top of a double boiler. When milk is hot and oysters float, add parsley and serve.
