- Combine all the sesame dressing ingredients in a small jar and shake it well.

APPLEBEE'S ORIENTAL CHICKEN SALAD
A healthy copycat version of Applebee's Oriental Chicken Salad that's just as good as the original for a fraction of the calories!

- Prepare the dressing: In a small bowl or large measuring cup, combine the Greek yogurt, honey, vinegar, mustard, sesame oil, and salt. Taste and add more salt as desired. If the dressing is too thick for your liking, stir in 1 to 2 tablespoons milk, until the desired consistency is reached.
- In a large mixing bowl, toss the romaine, red cabbage, and carrots. Arrange the chicken tenders on top. Drizzle with the dressing. Sprinkle with the chow mein noodles, almonds, and green onion. Enjoy immediately.

BEST ORIENTAL SALAD
My family loves this fresh crispy salad. I got this recipe many years ago from a co-worker. It is different from most oriental salad recipes in that it does not use the ramen noodle spice packet.

Steps:
- 1. Chop green onions and add to coleslaw mix. Chill.
- 2. Break up the ramen noodles and brown in 3-4 tbsp of butter. Add sesame seeds and almonds to toast. Set aside to cool.
- 3. Mix soy sauce, vinegar, sugar, & oil in sauce pan and bring to boil. Boil for 1-2 minutes, or until the sugar has completely dissolved. Place in separate container and chill.
- 4. Just before serving add the toasted noodle mix and the dressing to the coleslaw mix.

- 1. Bring to boil the sugar, vinegar, oil, water.
- 2. Once the above liquids boil then add the spice packets the oriental work the best.
- 3. Now Boil the noodles in another pan then drain noodles.
- 4. In a large bowl combine the noodles, the onion and broccoli slaw, nuts and seeds, and the liquid. Its better if you let this set for at least 3 hours but it can be eatten immediately.

- Heat a medium pot over medium-high. Add mussels and 1 tablespoon pepper; stir to combine. Cover pot and steam until shells open and mussels are cooked, 3 to 5 minutes.
- Transfer cooked mussels to a bowl or rimmed baking sheet and let cool. Refrigerate for 1 hour or until chilled.
- In a medium bowl, whisk to combine mustard, lemon zest and juice, honey, shallot, garlic, saffron, curry powder, and a pinch of salt. While whisking continuously, slowly drizzle in oil.
- In a large bowl, combine mussels, radishes, watercress, and parsley. Drizzle vinaigrette over salad and toss to combine. Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with parsley.

- Mix cabbage, bean sprouts and onions in large bowl.
- In small bowl or dressing container, combine dressing ingredients. Mix well.
- Half an hour before serving add seeds and noodles.
- Ten minutes before serving add dressing.
