Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Spray muffin pan with cooking spray.
- Place one wonton wrapper in each muffin cup; bake 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
- Remove from oven and cool slightly.
- In a medium-sized mixing bowl, stir together cream cheese, sour cream, bacon, cheddar cheese, and chopped jalapeños.
- Spoon filling into wonton cups, then sprinkle with reserved bacon and cheese.
- Return to oven and bake for an additional 8-10 minutes, until wontons are golden brown and cheese is melted.

- Preheat oven to 350°
- Brush the wonton wrappers on both sides with melted butter. Press into muffin pans. Bake until slightly golden, about 6-8 minutes.
- Mix the filling ingredients and spoon evenly into the baked wonton cups. Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Bake until the cheese is melted and the wonton cups are golden brown, about 12 minutes. Garnish with crumbled bacon and sliced green onion.
- Remove from muffin pan and serve.

WONTON JALAPENO POPPERS

- Mix together room temperature cream cheese and grated Cheddar cheese in a medium-sized mixing bowl.
- Add Worcestershire sauce and chopped jalapeno and mix well into the cream cheese mixture.
- Add about ½ teaspoon of the filling to the wonton wrapper.
- Dip your finger into water and run your finger along 2 sides of the wonton wrapper.
- Fold the dry edge onto the wet edge of the wonton wrapper and press the edges together. Make sure that they wontons are well sealed.
- Add enough oil to the cooking vessel so the bottom 3 to 4 inches are covered.
- Heat oil to 350 degrees.
- Cook the wontons for about 90 seconds turning when brown on the first side, and then cooking until browned on the other side.
- Remove the cooked wontons and drain them on a wire rack before serving.

- Heat oil in a large heavy skillet or deep fryer to 360 degrees F (180 degrees C).
- In a small bowl, mix together cream cheese, jalapenos, cheese, paprika, salt, and garlic powder.
- Place 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of the cream cheese mixture into the center of each wonton wrapper. Fold the won ton wrapper over the stuffing to make a triangle or a half moon, depending on the shape of the won ton wrappers you have purchased. Moisten the edges with a little water, and seal. Place prepared won tons under a slightly moist paper towel until ready for frying.
- Add 3 or 4 wontons to the hot oil, and cook until golden brown, turning once. Set aside on paper towels to drain. Repeat until all wontons have been fried. Serve hot.

- In a medium bowl, stir together the cream cheese and jalapeno peppers. Arrange wonton wrappers a few at a time on a clean dry surface. Set a cup or small bowl of water nearby. Place about a teaspoon of the cream cheese mixture onto the center of each wrapper. Moisten your fingertip in the bowl of water and trace the edges of the wonton wrappers. Fold into triangles or follow directions on the package for desired shapes. This part can be done ahead of time and refrigerated or frozen.
- Heat the oil in a deep fryer to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). When hot, fry the wontons a few at a time until golden brown, about 2 minutes. Drain on paper towels. Repeat with all of the wontons, then serve with the sweet chili sauce for dipping.

- In a bowl, combine cream cheese, jalapeños, and cheddar cheese. Arrange wontons in a single layer on a baking sheet. Add 1 teaspoon of the filling to the center of each wonton (don't overfill them). Dip your fingers in a bowl of water and run your wet fingers around all edges of each wonton. Fold the wontons over the filling, pinching the edges to seal to make a triangle and removing any air bubbles. Fry wontons in batches in hot oil until browned and crispy. WONTON JALAPENO POPPERS
These are similar to another wonton recipe I saw on JAP. they are really fun to make. I make em for parties and they are always one of the first things to go. I almost always have a few that ask for the recipe! Try them out! You can wrap em and freeze em for another day too.

- 1. Combine softened (room temp) cream cheeses, shredded cheese & bacon.
- 2. Drain Jalapenos reserving liquid. Add 1T of Jalapeno juice plus the chopped Jalapenos and mix well. You don't want the mixture too wet or soupy.
- 3. On a cutting board or flat, clean surface lay out 4-8 wonton wrappers and drop approximately a teaspoon of the mixture into the middle of each wrapper.
- 4. wet all 4 edges of wonton, fold the wonton point to point offsetting slightly, pinch together then bring the bottom two points together and seal. Instructions for folding are on the wonton package.
- 5. Baking: Spray a sheet pan with canola nonstick cooking spray and place wontons onto the pan. Spray each of the wontons with canola spray, bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes turn them and bake another 5 minutes.
- 6. Frying: Heat 3-4 inches of Canola or vegetable oil in a fryer or heavy pot on top of your stove. Carefully place several wontons into oil they should be frying and bubbly immediately when you put them in. Do not over load your fry oil or the heat will come down and make them oily and soggy. Fry for 3-5 minutes until golden brown.
