1 1/2 lbs unpeeled medium raw shrimp (or frozen shrimp, thawed)
2 teaspoons creole seasoning
12 ounces uncooked penne pasta
2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine
4 green onions, sliced
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 1/2 cups whipping cream
1 teaspoon hot sauce
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • Peel and devein shrimp; toss shrimp with creole seasoning; set aside.
  • Cook pasta according to the package directions; drain and keep warm.
  • In a large skillet over med-high heat, melt the butter.
  • Add in shrimp; stir/saute 5 minutes or until shrimp turn pink.
  • Remove shrimp from skillet; add green onions and garlic to skillet; stir/saute 2-3 minutes or until tender.
  • Lower heat to medium; stir in cream and hot sauce.
  • Bring to a boil; lower heat and simmer, stirring constantly 8-10 minutes or until sauce is slightly thickened.
  • Stir in shrimp and parsley.
  • Toss with pasta.
  • Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and serve.

1 package (16 ounces) penne pasta
1 large red onion, finely chopped
3 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons olive oil
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 pound uncooked large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tablespoons seafood seasoning
1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
1 tablespoon Louisiana-style hot sauce
1/4 teaspoon pepper

Steps:

  • Cook pasta according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a Dutch oven, saute onion in butter and oil until tender. Add garlic; cook 1 minute longer. Sprinkle shrimp with seafood seasoning; add to pan., Stir in the cream, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, Cajun seasoning, hot sauce and pepper. Drain pasta, reserving 3/4 cup cooking liquid. Add reserved cooking liquid to pan. Cook and stir for 6-8 minutes or until shrimp turn pink. Add pasta and toss to coat.

2 Tablespoons butter (salted or unsalted)
1 clove garlic (diced)
2 cups whole milk
4 Tablespoons all purpose flour
2 teaspoons Creole Seasoning
1 teaspoon dried oregano
½ teaspoon smoked paprika
1 cup canned diced tomatoes (drained lightly)
1 Tablespoon lime juice (juice of about 1/2 lime)
½ teaspoon salt (or to taste)

Steps:

  • Melt butter in skillet over medium-low heat.
  • Add garlic and cook, stirring, about 1 minute.
  • Add flour, and whisk until blended.
  • Add milk gradually, whisking until incorporated.
  • Add seasonings and stir.
  • Turn heat to medium and cook, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens.
  • Add tomatoes and salt, and reduce to simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Stir in lime juice before serving.

1 lb large raw shrimp (peeled & deveined with tails intact)
4 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 Tablespoon butter
1/3 cup diced Green Bell Pepper
1/3 cup diced Red Onion
1/3 cup diced Celery
1/3 lb medium Cremini or White Mushrooms - sliced.
¼ cup chopped Italian Parsley (reserve 1 tablespoon)
4 cloves Garlic- chopped fine
20 oz (3 cups) prepared Red Tomato Salsa
½ teaspoon ground black pepper
1 lb uncooked, dried linguine (whole wheat or high protein can be substituted)
1 cup heavy cream

Steps:

  • In large Dutch oven, heat 6 quarts of salted water to boil. Add pasta and cook until al dente as directed. Drain and reserve. Heat Olive Oil in 12 inch skillet on Medium heat. Add Bell Pepper, Onion and Celery - sauté for 2 minutes, stirring frequently Add Mushrooms - continue sauté until well moistened and lightly browned- approx 3 minutes. Add butter, stirring to melt. Add Shrimp and Garlic, stirring frequently until shrimp are starting to turn pink. Approx 2 minutes Add Salsa, stirring to blend well with Shrimp and vegetables. Add Parsley and Black Pepper. Continue cooking for approximately 3 minutes. Add Heavy Cream. Stir in cream until well blended. Reduce heat to low and continue cooking until sauce has thickened (approx. 2 minutes). Remove from heat Divide pasta between 4 plates. Pour equal amount (approx. 1 cup each) of Sauce over pasta. Sprinkle Reserved Parsley and serve.

8 ounces cleaned lump crabmeat
1/2 pound peeled cooked medium shrimp
salt and pepper
2 tablespoons fresh chopped parsley

Steps:

  • 1.Cook pasta in a large pot of water according to package directions. Drain when cooked. 2.Meanwhile, in a large skillet, heat oil to medium high and sauté onions and peppers for a 3-5 minutes or until slightly soft. 3.Add milk, cream cheese and Creole seasoning to pan. While stirring frequently, lower heat to medium and cook until sauce is smooth. Stir in crabmeat and shrimp; cook for 4 to 5 minutes or until seafood is heated through. 4.In a large bowl, toss the pasta with sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste. 1/4 cup white wine or chicken broth
1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon Creole seasoning

1/2 pound fully cooked andouille sausage, sliced
1/2 pound uncooked medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
