2 lb baking or all-purpose potatoes (peeled or not)
3/4 c milk
3/4 c butter
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper

Steps:

  • 1. Cook potatoes in water to cover 25 to 30 minutes until tender.
  • 2. Drain and mash with milk, butter, salt, and pepper. Reheat if necessary before serving.
