Spice-Rubbed Rock Cornish Hens image

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 tablespoon olive or vegetable oil
1 teaspoon ground turmeric
1 teaspoon onion powder
3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 Rock Cornish hens (about 1 1/2 pounds each)

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°. Rub hens with oil. Mix all remaining ingredients except hens. Rub turmeric mixture on skins of hens. Place hens, breast sides up, on rack in shallow roasting pan.
