Seared Scallops with Garlic Butter image

Quick and easy dish and so delicious

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 lb sea scallops
1 Tbsp olive oil
salt and pepper
4 Tbsp butter
2 tsp garlic minced
1 Tbsp lemon juice
2 Tbsp chopped cilantro or parsley

Steps:

  • 1. Pat the scallops dry and season salt and pepper. Add oil to a hot skillet cast iron is best. Sear the scallops for about 2 minutes each side. Remove from pan and set aside
  • 2. Add the butter to the pan. Stir in the garlic and cook 30 seconds. Return the scallops to the pan. Add the lemon juice and cilantro. Serve immediately
