SAGE AND ROSEMARY PORK STEW image

Number Of Ingredients 12

2 pounds boneless pork cubes
1 tablespoon oil
32 ounces chicken broth
1 cup water
1/2 cup sliced green onion (or chopped onions)
1 teaspoon dried rosemary (or 1 tablespoon fresh rose
1/8 teaspoon sage
salt and pepper to taste
2 cups unpeeled new potatoes -- cubed
1/2 pound green beans (or peas)
1/3 cup flour
2/3 cup half and half

Steps:

  • Brown pork cubes in oil. Stir in chicken broth, water, onions, rosemary, sage, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes. Stir in vegetables and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes. Combine flour and half and half; mix until smooth. Stir into stew and simmer until thickened.
