Easy to prepare and fun...both to make, and eat. This pie got its name because it tastes like so much more than it really is. I have pared down some of the ingredients to save on calories and fat, without compromising the taste!

Steps:
- 1. In a small bowl, cream softened cream cheese with sugar.
- 2. Add well drained pineapple, and the pecans Stir till blended.
- 3. Fold in the thawed, whipped topping. When done, spoon the mixture into the prepared pie shell. Cover lightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 4 hours, or overnight before serving.
- 4. Suggested garnishes- A small can of well drained Mandarin orange slices ( I, personally, am a big fan of the orange/pineapple combo), or about a 1/4 cup of finely chopped pecans, or about 1/2 cup flaked, sweetened coconut. (Note- if using coconut for a garnish-sprinkle on before chilling.)
