My son, Jason, and I had fun coming up with this cookie recipe. Every bite is packed with maple flavor, vanilla chips, milk chocolate chips and chopped macadamia nuts.

Steps:
- In a large bowl, cream butter and confectioners' sugar. Beat in the egg, maple flavoring and vanilla. Combine the flour, baking soda and cream of tartar; gradually add to the creamed mixture. Stir in the oats, chips and nuts., Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls 2 in. apart onto greased baking sheets. Bake at 350° for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove to wire racks to cool. In a bowl, combine icing ingredients until smooth; drizzle over cookies. Store in the refrigerator.
