LEGAL SEAFOOD BAKED SCALLOPS image

Number Of Ingredients 7

2 lbs. fresh sea scallops
Salt & pepper
2 tsp. fresh thyme, minced (or 1 tsp. of dried thyme)
1/2 C buttermilk
2 C crushed Ritz crackers
1/2 C butter, melted
1 small lemon, halved

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Place scallops in a bowl; season with salt & pepper to taste; add thyme and buttermilk. Toss to coat. Place scallops evenly in the bottom of a baking dish; sprinkle with cracker crumbs and top with melted butter. Bake for 20 minutes; squeeze lemon over scallops and serve immediately.
