Grilled Onion Cheeseburgers! image

This is one of those simple hamburger recipes that pack a big punch of flavor with no need for condiments. The seasoning on the meat is perfect without overpowering the natural flavor of the meat. 1 lb lean ground beef
1 small yellow onion
2 onion hamburger buns
2 slice American cheese
3 dash(es) Worchestershire sauce
1/2 tsp Johnny's seasoning salt
1/2 tsp Grill-Mates steak seasoning
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1 Tbsp butter

Steps:

  • 1. For the hamburgers: Take 1 lb of lean ground beef and mix in a few dashes of Worcestershire sauce, steak seasoning, and some garlic powder and mix well. Form into two patties. Grill patties on a cast iron skillet until done to your liking and add cheese.
  • 2. For the Grilled Onions: Slice up entire small yellow onion. In a saute pan, add a tablespoon of butter and melt. Add onion and Johnny's seasoning salt. Cook until caramelized.
  • 3. Butter the onion buns and put them under the broiler until browned. When buns are done remove from oven, add hamburger and top with grilled onions. Enjoy!
