GRANDMA'S FRESH APPLE CAKE image

Number Of Ingredients 9

3 Eggs
1 1/2 Cups Vegetable oil
2 cups granulated sugar
3 cups all-purpose flour
1tsp Baking soda
2 tsp Cinnamon
3 cups of apples, peeled and chopped
1 cup walnuts, chopped
2tsp vanilla

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 Grease and flour 10" tube pan.In large mixing bowl beat eggs. Add sugar and oil and beat 3 minutes at high speed. Sift dry ingredients together and slowly add to egg mixture. Batter will be very stiff. Fold in Apples, nuts and vanilla. Pour into pan and bake 1 hour and 15 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool. Invert on plate and lightly dust with confectioners sugar.
