Steps:
- If using whole tenderloins, us a sharp knife to cut each in half horizontally, making 4 1/2-inch-thick steaks. Rinse turkey; pat dry. Brush with oil. Sprinkle with lemon-pepper seasoning. Place turkey on the unheated rack of a broiler pan. Broil 4-5 in. from the heat for 4 min. Turn & broil for 4-5 min. more or until tender & no longer pink. Top with cheese; broil 1 min. more or until cheese melts.
- Use a serrated knife to cut bread. Spread botom layer with about 2 Tbsp. of the tomato mayonnaise or mayo. On bottom half layer greens, turkey, & onion. Spread top bread half with 2 Tbsp. mayo. Place a top sandwich.
- Tomato Mayonnaise: In a blender container combine 1/2 cup mayo or salad dressing; 6 dried tomato halves (oil pack), drained & cut into quartes; 1 tsp. lemon juice & 1/2 tsp. dried basil, crushed. Cover; blend until combined. Transfer to a small container Cover; refrigerate until needed or up to 2 weeks. Makes 1/2 cup.
