Steps:
- Using hands, combine meat, bread crumbs, onion, celery salt, pepper and egg in a mixing bowl. Shape into four ½ in. thick patties. Dip each into flour and sauté in a chicken fryer over medium heat in heated oil for 10-12 minutes. Remove from pan and place on warm plate. Dissolve 1 tbsp cornstarch in cold water. Drain all but 1 tbsp drippings from pan and stir in cornstarch/water. Cook 1 minute over medium heat. Stir in ale and broth and cook for about 3 minutes until lightly thickened and bubbly. Spoon sauce over steaks and serve to friends or family.
