Cordon Bleu Appetizer image

I usually double this recipe and sometimes have it as the main dish paired with a salad.

4 ounce(s) cream cheese (softened)
1 teaspoon(s) dijon mustard
1 cup(s) swiss cheese (shredded)
3/4 cup(s) cooked ham (diced)
1/4 cup(s) chives (minced)
18 slice(s) french bread (cut 1/2 in. thick)

Steps:

  • In small bowl, beat cream cheese and mustard until smooth. Stir in swiss cheese, ham, and chives.
  • Spread 1 tablespoon of mixture over each bread slice. Place slices on an ungreased baking sheet.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes or until lightly browned and bread is crusty.
