Chicken Crockpot Tenders image

This chicken was so tender; you could cut it with your fork, and you hardly had to chew it; I'm not lying...the flavor was absolutely wonderful..a little spicy and a little sweet from the molasses...I think you are going to love this recipe....my family loved it....served...

Number Of Ingredients 9

9 small chicken tenders or 3 med breasts
12 oz bottle of heinz chili sauce
juice from 1/2 a lemon
4 Tbsp dark molasses--it's easier by tblsp, than by 1/4 cup
2 Tbsp worcestershire sauce
1 Tbsp garlic powder with parsley
1 Tbsp each chili powder and salsa
1 tsp seasoned salt
3 dash(es) hot pepper sauce

Steps:

  • 1. Rinse and trim fat from chicken pieces. Place ready pieces in a sprayed Crockpot.
  • 2. In a bowl combine the remaining ingredients, mixing well to combine. Pour over chicken pieces. Stir pieces to coat well. Cover and cook on high for two hours. Turn down to low and cook till tender ; about an hour more...check for doneness.
