Cheesy Potato Sticks image

Number Of Ingredients 7

2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
dash pepper
1 cup milk
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese, divided
1 (16-ounce) package frozen French fried potato

Steps:

  • Melt butter over low heat. Blend in flour, salt and pepper. Add milk all at once. Cook quickly, stirring constantly until thickened and bubbling. Add half the shredded cheese. Stir until the cheese melts. Place potatoes in 10x6x1 1/2-inch casserole dish. Pour milk mixture over top. Top with remaining cheese. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
