BUTTERMILK BACON DRESSING image

Number Of Ingredients 9

5 slice(s) bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 cup(s) whole buttermilk
3/4 cup(s) mayonnaise
2 tablespoon(s) distilled white vinegar
1 tablespoon(s) whole grain mustard
2 tablespoon(s) chopped fresh chibes
2 tablespoon(s) chopped fresh dill
1/8 teaspoon(s) salt
1/8 teaspoon(s) ground black pepper

Steps:

  • Cook bacon until crisp; set aside to cool. Crumble. In medium bowl, spoon 3 T. bacon fat. Add buttermilk, mayonnaise, mustard, chives, dill, salt, pepper and reserved bacon. Stir well. Store in refrigerator up to 9 days. Makes 2 cups.
