BROCCOLI CHEESE SOUP IN A BREAD BOWL image

2 Sourdough Bread loaves from grocer
1 can Broccoli-cheese soup
Broccoli florets
Cheddar Cheese
Dash of Nutmeg
Dash of Kirsch

Steps:

  • Carve "bowl" into each bread loaf. May dice "cut-out" bread. Toast all in a warm oven. While toasting, warm soup on stove and steam/cook fresh broccoli florets. Add florets to soup. Stir in small handful of cheddar cheese, dash of nutmeg and dash of kirsch. Pour soup into bread bowl and sprinkle cheddar cheese on top. May dip diced toasted bread into soup like a fondue.
