TURKEY VEGGIE BURGERS

I've taken various recipes and tweaked them to our tastes. This is one that we like the best. I like mine with a slice of tomato, pickles, onions, a little mayo and mustard on a Slimwich bun. All of that for 250 calories. Yummy.

Number Of Ingredients 9

1 pound(s) ground turkey
1 can(s) low sodium black beans (rinse, drain and mash)
1 medium zucchini (grated)
1/4 or 1/2 cup(s) parmesan cheese (fat free if preferred)
1 cup(s) bread crumbs (panko, seasoned, plain, your choice)
1 - egg
1 teaspoon(s) onion powder
1 teaspoon(s) garlic powder
1 tablespoon(s) montreal steak seasoning (less if you don't like spicy)

Steps:

  • Mix all ingredients together.
  • Weigh on a scale to make 1/4 pound burgers. You should get 10 burgers.
  • Grill on the George Forman grill for about 7 minutes to 165 degrees.
  • Serve on Slimwich bun. I like a slice of tomato, pickles, onions, mustard and a swipe of low fat mayo. Yummy and only 250 calories if I calculated correctly.
