Serve a tangy side Tony Roma's-style with this coleslaw recipe. The veggies are tossed in lemon juice and mayo dressing with celery seed and white pepper.

¾ tsp minced parsley
1½ tsp Fresh Lemon Juice
¼ tsp minced onion
⅛ tsp celery seed
⅛ tsp white pepper
½ cup mayonnaise
¾ tsp white vinegar
¼ tsp salt
2 tbsp sugar
10 oz (½ head), cored and shredded cabbage
½ shredded large carrot

Steps:

  • Combine all dressing ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Blend with a wire whisk.
  • Refrigerate for as long as possible, but remember the slaw will have to be dressed for at least 2 hours before serving.
  • Combine the dressing with the cabbage and carrots. Mix thoroughly.
  • Refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving.
  • Mix together again just before serving.

I love there coleslaw. The portion it makes is really big so I cut it down to 3rds. I also used spelnda instead of sugar and did it to taste instead of adding it all at one time.

2 teaspoons black pepper
2/3 teaspoon oregano
1 3/4 tablespoons celery seeds

2 carrots, peeled and grated
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons pickle relish
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

Steps:
