I came up with this layered peanut butter treat when my dad gave me a big bag of apples. The dip has been one of my favorites ever since. In addition to serving it with apples, try it with graham crackers, vanilla wafers, banana chunks or animal crackers. -Theresa Tometich, Coralville, Iowa

- For dip, beat first 4 ingredients until smooth; stir in marshmallows. Spoon half the mixture into a 3-cup bowl; top with half the fudge topping. Repeat layers. Sprinkle with nuts., To serve, toss apples with lemon juice. Serve with dip.

- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
- In a bowl, mix the apple slices, white sugar, 2 1/2 tablespoons of flour, and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon together until thoroughly combined; spread out into a 9x13-inch baking dish. In a separate large bowl, mix the melted butter with nutmeg and 2 teaspoons of cinnamon; stir in the brown sugar, oats, 1 cup of flour, and mini marshmallows until thoroughly combined. Spread the marshmallow topping evenly over the apples, and gently flatten the topping to a smooth layer.
- Bake in the preheated oven until the apples are tender and the topping is golden brown, 30 to 35 minutes.

- Spoon 1/3 of the COOL WHIP (about 1 cup) into each of 3 medium microwaveable bowls. Add chocolate and jam to COOL WHIP in one bowl, caramels to COOL WHIP in second bowl, and marshmallow creme and cream cheese to COOL WHIP in remaining bowl.
