Steps:
- Whisk soy sauce, pineapple juice, brown sugar, Sriracha, sesame oil, and garlic powder together in a bowl until fully blended. Transfer to a small saucepan and cook on medium heat until teriyaki sauce is slightly thickened, about 10 minutes.
- Place shrimp in a shallow dish. Pour 3/4 of the teriyaki sauce over the shrimp and let marinate for 30 minutes. Reserving the remaining sauce for basting.
- Preheat an outdoor grill to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grill. Thread shrimp onto skewers.
- Grill skewers for 3 minutes. Flip, brush reserved sauce over the shrimp, and grill 3 minutes more.

PLUM DIPPING SAUCE FOR SHRIMP

- Place the plums in a blender or food processor. Add the water and mix at high speed until the plums are pureed. Pour the puree into a 1-quart saucepan. Add the remaining ingredients and simmer over low heat for 20 minutes to reduce the sauce. If necessary, add cornstarch to thicken the sauce.
- Remove from heat. Add sugar, to taste. Serve hot or cold.
TERIYAKI SHRIMP WITH HOT PLUM SAUCE
Great appetizer! I had this at an "after hours" chamber meeting. Prep time does not include the 3 hour marinating time.

- Peel and devein shrimp; place in a large bowl.
- Combine the oil and the next 5 ingredients; pour the marinade ingredients over the shrimp. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for 3 hours, stirring occasionally.
- Cook the bacon in a large skillet until limp, but not crisp. Drain and set aside.
- Remove the shrimp from the marinade, discarding the marinade. Wrap 1 bacon slice around each shrimp, securing with a wooden pick.
- Place on a rack in a roasting pan. Bake at 450 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes or until the shrimp turns pink and the bacon is crisp. Serve immediately with the Hot Plum Sauce.
- Hot Plum Sauce: Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

- Heat oil in a wok over medium heat. Add shrimp, garlic, garlic powder, and ginger. Cook until shrimp are opaque, 3 to 5 minutes.
- Add brown sugar and sesame seeds. Blend in white wine, teriyaki sauce, and teriyaki marinade and bring to a boil. Add frozen vegetables and return to a boil. Reduce heat to a simmer. Cover and cook until vegetables are heated through and tender, 10 to 15 minutes.
- Serve stir-fry over a bed of rice.

- In a skillet heat up 1 tbsp vegetable oil and saute the onion, shallot, and garlic until translucent. Remove and set aside.
- Add remainder of vegetable oil, butter, and heat. Add shrimp, teriyaki, and hoisin and saute until mostly cooked.
- Add broccoli and cook until heated throughout but not crunchy. Return onion, shallot, and garlic.
- Add sesame oil and cook for 30 seconds.
- Serve with rice or simply by itself.
