1/2 cup boiling water
3 tablespoons soy margarine
1/2 cup sugar
1 1/3 cups instant soymilk powder (I use Better Than Milk)

Steps:

  • Combine margarine, sugar, and soymilk powder in a medium bowl.
  • Pour in boiling water.
  • Stir well.

1 cup light unbleached cane sugar or 1 cup white beet sugar
2/3 cup boiling water
6 tablespoons bulk soymilk powder
5 tablespoons isolated powdered soy protein concentrate
1 tablespoon melted good-tasting nondairy margarine

Steps:

  • Combine all ingredients in a blender until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture is thick.
  • Pour into a clean jar, cover and refrigerate.
  • It thickens when chilled.

1 (12 fluid ounce) can evaporated milk

Steps:

  • Pour the sugar into the milk in a saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Remove from the heat and allow to cool before using.
