Time 1h30m

Yield 12 clusters

Number Of Ingredients 7

1/2 cup peanut butter
2 tablespoons powdered sugar
1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon liquid smoke (depending on how smoky you like it)
Kosher salt
24 small pretzels
12 individual caramels, preferably Kraft, unwrapped
1 cup chopped milk chocolate or milk chocolate chips

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line a muffin pan with the paper liners.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the peanut butter, powdered sugar, liquid smoke and a pinch of salt. Transfer to a zip-top bag. Slice about 1/2 inch off one of the bottom corners of the bag.
  • Place 2 pretzels in the bottom of each muffin cup. Pipe a heaping teaspoon of the peanut butter onto the pretzels in each cup. Top each with a caramel and press it down into the peanut butter. Bake until the caramel is melted, 8 to 10 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, melt the chocolate over a double boiler. Remove the clusters from the oven and top each with about a teaspoon of melted chocolate and a pinch of salt. Place in the refrigerator until set, about 1 hour. Remove from the muffin tin and serve.

Categories     Instant Pot

Time 12m

Number Of Ingredients 3

10 ounces milk chocolate chips
1 tablespoon peanut butter
8 ounces heavy cream

Steps:

  • Pour 2 cups of water into the bottom of your Instant Pot liner. Place the trivet into the pot. In a bowl that will fit inside your Instant Pot, add chocolate chips, peanut butter, and heavy cream. Stir so everything is covered. Place a piece of tin foil on top of the bowl. Place the bowl in Instant Pot and put the lid on top of Instant Pot. Set to sealing and then set the Instant Pot to manual high pressure for three minutes. When the timer goes off, quick pressure release all the extra pressure. The chocolate will look a little odd when you take off the tinfoil - it's supposed to! Just stir around for a little while until everything is combined and it thickens a little bit. Enjoy!
