I made this for Victoria's Baptism party, as it has always been a favorite recipe of mine. A dollop of whipped cream or cool whip on top adds just another sweet taste to this wonderful recipe!

Number Of Ingredients 8

11 ounce(s) can mandarin orange sections
1/4 teaspoon(s) salt
6 - inches stick cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon(s) whole cloves
2 - 3 oz pkgs orange jello
2 cup(s) cold water
3 tablespoon(s) lemon juice
1/2 cup(s) chopped walnuts

Steps:

  • Drain oranges. Reserve syrup and add water to make 1 3/4 cups. In pan, mix syrup/water, salt and spices. Cover and simmer 10 min. Remove from heat and let stand, covered, 10 more min. Strain and dissolve jello in hot liquid. Add cold water and lemon juice. Chill til partially set and add oranges and nuts.

4.6 ounces Cook n Serve vanilla pudding mix ((1 large box - not instant pudding))
6 ounces orange Jell-o ((1 large box))
3 cups water
16 ounces Cool Whip ((thawed))
5 ounces mini marshmallows ((about half the bag))
22 ounces canned mandarin oranges ((2 small cans; drained))
3 bananas ((sliced; add right before serving so they don't turn brown in the fridge))

Steps:

  • Mix together pudding, Jell-o, and water over medium heat until it boils. Remove from heat and pour into a large mixing bowl. Refrigerate until mixture has thickened (about 4-5 hours).
  • Beat until creamy.
  • Fold in whipped cream, marshmallows, and fruit. Scrape the sides of the bowl to get all the fluff mixture together. Chill about an hour before serving.
