- Cut steak into six pieces; sprinkle with salt and pepper. In an ovenproof Dutch oven, brown meat in oil on both sides. Stir in the soup, water, celery, red pepper, onion and thyme. Cover and bake at 350° for 1 hour., Add potatoes; cover and bake 1-1/2 hours longer or until steak and vegetables are tender.

- Preheat oven to 350 degree Season meat with seasonings.
- In large skillet over medium high heat,saute the meat until well browned on all sides.
- Next,place the potatoes,onions, green peppers and mushrooms over the meat.
- Top with salad dressing, and cover with foil.
- Bake at 350 degree for 1 hour,or until potatoes are done and meat is tender.

- Flour meat, brown in shortening and stir until tender. Pour into ungreased 9X13 pan, baking dish. Sprinkle w/ flour. Add salt, pepper, thyme, garlic powder, onion and water. Bake in a 350 F oven for 60 minutes. Increase temp to 400 F. and arrange thinly sliced potatoes, sprinked with salt, butter and paprika, over the top. Bake 30 minutes longer.

Steps:
- Trim fat off edges of steak and cut into serving size pieces.
- Season with creole seasoning.
- Pour oil in large skillet and brown steak well.
- Place in a greased 9x13 dish.
- In large bowl stir together onion, rice, beef broth, water, parsley flakes, garlic powder, salt, worcestershire, bell peppers and green chilies.
- Pour over steak in baking dish.
- Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until rice is cooked.
