Pineapple Raspberry Strawberry-Lime Smoothie image

Another pineapple version of a morning treat with a hidden surprise of twangy lime. A great breakfast, or just a refreshing treat.

Number Of Ingredients 11

1/2 c yogurt, plain (strawberry or pineapple flavored optional)
1/3 c frozen strawberries
1/3 c frozen raspberries
1/2 c pineapple chunks in juice
2 tsp lime juice or 2 tbsp frozen lime concentrate
1 Tbsp honey or 2 splenda packets
5 ice cubes
1/8 tsp allspice
1/8 tsp nutmeg
1 Tbsp wheat germ (optional)
1 Tbsp flax (optional)

Steps:

  • 1. Place the yogurt, berries, pineapple, juice and honey or Splenda in a blender; cover and process until smooth. Add wheat germ, flax, spices and ice cubes; cover and process until smooth.

2 cups fresh raspberries
1 cup frozen limeade concentrate, thawed
2 cups vanilla yogurt
2 scoops vanilla ice cream

Steps:

  • Place raspberries and limeade concentrate in blender. Cover and pulse until chunky.
  • Add yogurt and ice cream. Cover and process until blended. Serve.
