This salad is so easy to make and every time I take it to a potluck I get asked for the recipe!

1 pound seedless green grapes
1 pound seedless red grapes
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 (7 ounce) jar marshmallow creme
1 (6 ounce) package slivered almonds

Steps:

  • Wash grapes in a colander under running water, and remove all stems. Place in a large bowl.
  • In a separate bowl, stir together the cream cheese and marshmallow creme until smooth and creamy. Pour the mixture over the grapes. Using a rubber spatula or large serving spoon, fold the mixture into the grapes until well coated. Fold in the almonds.
  • This salad may be served immediately, or covered and refrigerated for 1 hour to set slightly, and to allow flavors to blend.

2 lbs seedless red grapes (rinsed and dried)
2 lbs seedless green grapes (rinsed and dried)
1 cup roughly chopped pecans (toasted and divided)
1 8 ounce block Neufchatel cream cheese, softened ((Or regular cream cheese))
1 8 ounce container sour cream
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 tsp pure vanilla extract
2-3 Tbsp light brown sugar

Steps:

  • Rinse and pick over grapes, remove stems and dry completely.
  • To toast pecans: Preheat oven to 350°F. Spread pecans in a single layer on a baking pan. Toast for 6-8 minutes until lightly golden and fragrant. Let cool, then chop.
  • To make the dressing: Add Neufchatel, sour cream, sugar and vanilla to a large mixing bowl. Cream together using an electric mixer for 2 minutes or until smooth and fully combined.
  • Use a large spatula or spoon to gently fold the grapes and toasted pecans into the dressing until evenly coated. (Reserve 3 tablespoons pecans for garnishing)
  • Place into an airtight container and chill for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  • Sprinkle the top with brown sugar and garnish with reserved pecans just before serving.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container chilled for up to 3 days.

1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1 cup sour cream
1/3 cup sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 pounds seedless red grapes
2 pounds seedless green grapes
3 tablespoons brown sugar
3 tablespoons chopped pecans

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese, sour cream, sugar and vanilla until blended. Add grapes and toss to coat. , Transfer to a serving bowl. Cover and refrigerate until serving. Sprinkle with brown sugar and pecans just before serving.
