Number Of Ingredients 12

(makes 1 sandwich)
1 ciabatta bun
2 slices of Hot Capicolli
3 slices of Lepp's pizza pepperoni
3 thin slices of Prosciutto
1 generous tablespoon of tapenade
Mayonnaise to preference
1 slice of provolone cheese
fresh mozzarella cheese, cut into thin slices
a handful of arugula
Candied Jalapeno Peppers (homemade, or from Salt Spring Kitchen Co)
a sprig of fresh basil, roughly chopped

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Line a small tray with parchment paper and set aside.
  • Cut open the focaccia bread, and spread mayonnaise onto the bottom piece. Next, add your tapenade and spread evenly. Layer the deli meats next, then the cheeses.
  • Place both halves of the sandwiches onto the tray. Transfer to oven and bake 10 - 15 minutes or desired toastiness.
  • Remove from oven, top with candied jalapeno peppers and arugula.
  • Close the sandwich and enjoy with your favourite Lepp Farm Market soup!

4 slices baked Fleischmann'sĀ® Simply HomemadeĀ® No Knead Bread Mix, any flavor
4 teaspoons butter OR margarine, softened
2 ounces thinly sliced ham
2 ounces thinly sliced salami
1 ounce thinly sliced pepperoni
2 slices provolone cheese
2 pepperoncini peppers, thinly sliced

Steps:

  • Butter one side of each slice of bread. Top unbuttered side of 2 bread slices with half of the ham, salami, pepperoni, provolone and pepperoncini. Top each with a slice of bread, buttered side out. Heat griddle or large skillet over medium high heat. Grill sandwich with buttered sides out for 2 to 3 minutes or until lightly browned. Flip sandwich and cook an additional 2 to 3 minutes until sandwich is browned and cheese has melted.

1/2 cup spaghetti sauce, divided
3 tablespoons seasoned bread crumbs
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 pound ground beef
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1/4 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
8 slices Italian bread
1/2 cup shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese

  • In a large bowl, combine the egg, 1/4 cup spaghetti sauce, bread crumbs and pepper. Crumble beef over mixture and mix well. Shape into four oval patties; set aside., Combine butter and seasonings; brush over both sides of bread. In a large skillet, toast bread until lightly browned; set aside., In the same skillet, cook patties over medium heat for 4-6 minutes on each side or until no longer pink. , Spoon remaining sauce over patties; sprinkle with cheese.
