Steps:
- 1. Put all ingredients in food processor and process until blended and powdered. This comes out a bit thinner because of the lack of preservatives and fillers. I mix it with 3/4 cp mayo or sour cream to 1/4 cup milk and 3 tablespoons of the mix.
- 2. Try more or less to your liking! NOTE- you may add 1/4 tspn to this dressing of xanthan gum to thicken it as the recipes is thin. Instead of using xanthan gum I just use a little more mayo and less milk! I dont care for using additives
- 3. If you don't have dehydrated cucumber you can finely dice fresh cucumber (its better that way!)

Steps:
- Tip: If you do not have buttermilk, purchase dry buttermilk mix. For one cup of buttermilk: Add 4 tablespoons to one cup of milk and mix well. The buttermilk mix stores in the fridge and you will always have it on hand for recipes calling for buttermilk.
- In a small bowl, stir together the parsley, pepper, seasoned salt, garlic powder, onion powder and thyme. Use as a substitute for Ranch Dressing Mix. To make dressing, mix this recipe with 1 cup mayonnaise and 1 cup buttermilk (fresh or from mix). Use in place of one packet of Ranch dressing mix in recipes.
- For dip, mix this recipe with 1 3/4 cups sour cream and 1/4 cup of buttermilk.
HOMEMADE RANCH MIX
This is a good alternative to the packages you buy in the store. There is no MSG and you control the salt and spices according to your taste. This mix should be refrigerated if made ahead due to the buttermilk powder. Use nonfat dry milk as a shelf stable alternative.
