This Hamburger Seasoning comes together with simple ingredients that you can already find in your pantry. Add it to your hamburger patties for the best hamburger seasoning! Make a big batch and have it on hand all grilling seasoning.

2 tablespoons paprika
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon onion powder
2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons black pepper
2 teaspoons garlic powder
2 teaspoons cumin
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Steps:

  • Mix all of the ingredients together in a small bowl.
  • To use on hamburgers, divided one pound of 80/20 ground chuck into four equal patties, indenting the middle for easier cooking.
  • Use one tablespoon (total for a pound of meat) of the hamburger seasoning and gently rub it into both sides of each hamburger patty. (Alternatively you could mix 1 tablespoons into the meat.)
  • Grill the patties over medium heat for 3 1/2 minutes on each side for medium doneness.
  • Store the rest of the mixture in an airtight container for up to six months.

1 tablespoon paprika
1 teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon Accent seasoning
1/2 teaspoon brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper

Steps:

  • Combine the paprika, sea salt, pepper, Accent, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper in an airtight container; seal. Shake to combine.
  • Mix 2 level teaspoons of seasoning to one pound of hamburger. Form into patties. Cook as usual (grill or pan fry).
  • Note: Store remaining seasoning in a cool, dry place between uses.

2 teaspoons dried minced onion
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon chili powder
½ teaspoon cornstarch
½ teaspoon ground cumin
½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
¼ teaspoon dried minced garlic
¼ teaspoon dried oregano
1 pound ground beef
½ cup water

Steps:

  • Mix minced onion, salt, chili powder, cornstarch, cumin, red pepper flakes, cayenne pepper, dried minced garlic, and oregano in a bowl.
  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Crumble ground beef into the hot skillet. Cook and stir until the beef is completely browned, 7 to 10 minutes. Drain and discard any excess grease.
  • Return ground beef to heat. Pour seasoning mixture and water over the beef; stir to combine. Bring to a simmer and cook until the moisture absorbs into the meat, about 5 minutes.
