1 (8 ounce) package spaghetti, broken in half

Steps:

  • Bring Pasta Sauce and water to a boil over high heat in 3-quart saucepan. Reduce heat to low, then add uncooked spaghetti. Simmer, stirring frequently, 16 minutes or until spaghetti is tender. Serve, if desired, with shredded mozzarella cheese, ricotta cheese or grated Parmesan cheese.

3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons chopped fresh oregano
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon dried basil
3 cups rotini pasta
1 (28 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce
1 (14 ounce) can chicken broth
¼ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese, or to taste

Steps:

  • Heat a high-sided 12-inch skillet with a lid over medium heat. Add ground turkey, onion, and fresh garlic. Cook, stirring occasionally, until meat is browned, about 8 minutes. Season with oregano, garlic powder, and basil. Mix in rotini pasta and stir until well combined.
  • Pour in pasta sauce and broth, making sure pasta is completely covered. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover, and cook until pasta is tender yet firm to the bite, 7 to 10 minutes.
  • Top with Parmesan cheese.

1 lb ground beef
salt, to taste
pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons italian seasoning
6 oz spinach
5 cloves garlic, minced
4 cups beef stock
¾ cup heavy cream, divided
2 medium zucchinis
8 oz green beans
6 oz broccoli
8 oz fusilli pasta
parmesan cheese, for garnish

Steps:

  • Add ground beef to a pot on medium high heat, season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning, and cook until browned.
  • Add spinach, garlic, and salt and pepper (if needed) and cook until spinach is wilted. Then, add beef stock and bring to a boil until all sides are bubbling.
  • Add ½ cup (120 ml) heavy cream and stir. Then, add zucchini, green beans, broccoli, and pasta and stir until well combined. Cook for 15 minutes or until pasta is cooked and the sauce has thickened, stirring occasionally.
  • Turn off the heat, add remaining ¼ cup (60 ml) heavy cream and stir for a creamier sauce.
  • Remove pot from heat and serve with Parmesan.

12 ounces whole wheat rigatoni (I like Barilla)
1 (28-oz.) can crushed tomatoes with basil (I like Hunt's)
4 light string cheese sticks (I like Sargento), cut into 1/2-inch pieces
2 (10-oz.) container grape tomatoes, halved
1/2 small onion, diced
About 12 fresh basil leaves
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
About 6 fresh basil leaves, chopped, for garnish (optional)
6 tablespoons shredded Parmesan cheese (I like Sargento Artisan Blends), for garnish (optional)

Steps:

  • In a large pot, combine 3 cups of water, the pasta, crushed tomatoes, cheese pieces, grape tomatoes, onion, basil, garlic, salt, and pepper and stir to combine.
  • Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, then reduce to a simmer and cook uncovered until the pasta has softened, 25 to 30 minutes. Much of the water will boil out.
  • Serve drizzled with balsamic vinegar. If desired, garnish with chopped basil and Parmesan.
