Baked Potato Bar image

Easy one dish meal for a no-fuss party. It's a snap to prepare and you can go about your day at work or shopping. My guests always think I've done alot more work! Have fun!

8 russet potatoes, unpeeled (6-8 Oz Each)
4 teaspoons olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon coarse black pepper
chopped green onion
chopped bell pepper
ranch dressing or ranch dip
sour cream
shredded cheese
crumbled blue cheese
crumbled crisp bacon
salsa
diced avocado
diced tomatoes

Steps:

  • Stab potatoes with fork.
  • Coat potatoes with oil.
  • Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  • Wrap each potato individually in aluminum foil; place in 5 to 6 qt slow cooker.
  • Cover and cook on LOW heat setting 6 to 8 hours or until potatoes are tender.
  • Serve with toppings.
