- In a medium microwave-safe measuring cup or bowl, combine corn syrup and heavy cream. Microwave on high 4 minutes, stirring halfway through. Stir in chocolate. Let stand 2 minutes, then whisk until smooth. Serve warm over ice cream.

Here is another ice cream sauce my Dad would make.... or more likely have me or Mom make. hehe This recipe came in a little booklet with our first microwave, years ago. Its easy and very good. Picture is clip art.

- Stir together all ingredients in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on medium for 1 minute, stir. Repeat this twice. Serve warm over ice cream. Whipped cream and a cherry are optional, but nice.
SUPER EASY CHOCOLATE FUDGE SAUCE
Steps:
- First, in a small saucepan on high, combine sugar, milk, melted butter, and cocoa powder. Bring to a boil. Once it has come to a boil, boil 1 1/2 minutes longer.
- Take off burner and stir in vanilla.
- Serve on ice cream and brownies.

Together, semisweet and unsweetened chocolates give the best fudgy flavor. Semisweet used on its own would make the sauce too sweet and unsweetened alone would be bitter. Use this as a topping for a truly indulgent ice cream sundae.

- In a small saucepan, bring sugar and heavy cream to a boil over medium-high. Cook, stirring often, until sugar dissolves, 2 minutes. Add butter and both chocolates, and stir until chocolates melt and sauce is smooth, 2 minutes. Stir in vanilla and salt.
