A candy corn martini recipe! Serve this candy corn cocktail as a traditional Halloween after-dinner drink that can be served on their own or served with fresh fruits and tasty desserts!

1/2 cup candy corn
1 1/2 cups vodka
2 ounces orange liqueur
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1 large egg white
candy corn (for garnish)
chocolate syrup
orange and black sprinkles

Steps:

  • Combine the candy corn and vodka in an airtight container; set aside for at least 3 hours, then strain.
  • Add 4 ounces of the candy corn vodka, the orange liqueur, lemon juice and egg white to a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously for at least 30 seconds. Strain into 2 chilled martini glasses and garnish with candy corn.
  • If you want to line the glass with colorful sprinkles. Add chocolate to the rim and pour the sprinkles in a bowl then dip the rim of the glass in the sprinkles.

1 bottle 750 ml vodka

Steps:

  • 1. Infuse the vodka: Combine the candy corn and vodka in an airtight container; set aside overnight, then strain.
  • 2. give with note saying For Candy Corn cordials: you will also need 2 ounces orange liqueur Juice of 1/2 lemon 1 large egg white Candy corn, for garnish TO Make the cordials: Add 4 ounces of the candy corn vodka, the orange liqueur, lemon juice and egg white to a cocktail shaker filled with ice. 1 1/2 cups vodka

  • In a jar with an airtight lid, combine the candy corn and vodka. Cover and set aside for at least 3 hours. When ready, strain and discard the solids. To prepare the drinks, in a cocktail shaker filled with ice combine 4 oz of the candy corn vodka, the orange liqueur, lemon juice and egg white. Shake vigorously for at least 30 seconds, then strain into 2 chilled martini glasses. Garnish with candy corn. Save remainder of vodka for additional drinks.

1 jar maraschino cherry, quartered lengthwise
1/2 lb melted candy making chocolate
uncooked fondant (see Uncooked Fondant)

Steps:

  • "Paint"a cherry cordial mold (it will have fairly deep circular pockets with a little"nipple" at the top) with melted chocolate.
  • Place it in your freezer for a few minutes until it sets up.
  • Take a maraschino cherry that has been cut lengthwise into quarters.
  • Place 3/4 of the cherry in the mold.
  • Thin out a little of the fondant with some maraschino cherry juice and drop a[i]little[/i] into the mold with the cherry pieces (don't overfill or it will seep out).
  • Use more melted chocolate to seal the bottom of the cordial, placing mold back in freezer for about 5 minutes or until chocolate is hard.
  • Then just pop the cordials out of the mold.
