2-1/2 cups Corn Chex
2 cups Rice Chex
2 cups Crispix
1 cup miniature pretzels
1 cup mixed nuts
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes
1 teaspoon celery salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 250°. Place first five ingredients in a large bowl. Mix remaining ingredients; toss with cereal mixture. Spread into an ungreased 15x10x1-in. pan., Bake 40-60 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes. Store in airtight containers.

Every few months my supermarket puts out a booklet full of recipes and recipe ideas. This particular recipe is from a 2012 Holiday edition. The booklet suggests you put them in jars for holiday gifting.

Number Of Ingredients 9

1 (620 g) box wheat, squares
1 (525 g) box oat o's cereal
0.5 (200 g) package pretzel sticks
1 pakg chedder cheese crackers (200g)
1 cup unsalted dry roasted peanuts
125 ml canola oil
2 tablespoons hot sauce
1/4 cup cajun seasoning
1/4 cup garlic powder

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 325 F.
  • In a shallow roasting pan toss together the first five ingredients.
  • In a small bowl whisk the remaining ingredients and drizzle over the cereal mixture. Bake in middle rack of oven until aromatic and slightly golden, for 15 minutes, stirring once.
  • Cool completely and store in an extra large freezer bags. The mixture keeps up to 10 days.

2 cups Rice Chex
2 cups Corn Chex
1 cup Wheat Chex
1 cup Cheerios
2 cups cheddar-flavored snack crackers
1 cup Goldfish cheddar crackers
1 cup oyster crackers
1 cup corn chips
1 cup salted peanuts
1/2 cup butter, cubed
3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
4 teaspoons Cajun seasoning
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic pepper blend

Steps:

  • In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine cereals, crackers, corn chips and peanuts. In a microwave, melt butter; stir until smooth. Whisk in Worcestershire sauce, Cajun seasoning, onion powder and garlic pepper blend. Pour over cereal mixture; toss to coat., Microwave on high 6 minutes, stirring twice. Spread onto baking sheets to cool. Store in an airtight container.
