Time 14m

Number Of Ingredients 7

1/2 cup water
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup lemon juice (freshly squeezed, about 3-4 lemons)
1 1/2 cups cold water (you may want to start with just 1 cup of water and add ice, so that it's not too diluted. See notes.)
3 tablespoons blue raspberry syrup (I used Torani brand)
Ice (however much you want, I used 1-2 cups worth)
fresh mint (for garnish)

Steps:

  • Place water and sugar in a small saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a simmer, stir frequently until the sugar completely dissolves. Remove from heat. (This step doesn't take too long, maybe 4-5 minutes is all).
  • Juice the lemons.
  • Combine the lemon juice and simple syrup in a small pitcher. Add the cold water and flavored syrup and ice. Stir to combine. Taste and adjust amount of water added if needed.
  • Pour into serving glasses. Garnish with fresh mint if desired. Enjoy cold.
