biscuit (regular dinner biscuits)
ground beef
barbecue sauce
brown sugar
shredded cheese

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to whatever temperature the biscuits that you are using calls for; fry ground beef, drain, and saturate with BBQ sauce; add brown sugar to taste; flatten and stretch biscuits to fit into muffin pan holes; place meat mixture into the middle of each biscuit; place into oven until biscuits rise; sprinkle shredded cheese on top and place back into the oven for about a minute or until cheese melts.
  • Best when eaten hot.
  • To reheat, place in plastic sandwich bag and place in microwave for about 30 seconds to 1 minute.

1 boneless beef rump roast (4 lb)
2 cups barbecue sauce
1 bottle (12 oz) dark beer
1 container (6 oz) Greek Fat Free plain yogurt
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon sugar
3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
1/4 teaspoon salt
4 cups thinly sliced cabbage
2 tablespoons chopped green onions (2 medium)
2 pouches (7.75 oz each) Bisquick™ Complete cheese-garlic biscuits

Steps:

  • Spray 4- to 5-quart slow cooker with cooking spray. Place beef into slow cooker. In small bowl, mix barbecue sauce and beer; pour over beef. Cover; cook on Low heat setting 8 to 10 hours or until beef is tender.
  • Meanwhile, in large bowl, mix yogurt, mayonnaise, sugar, vinegar and salt until smooth. Stir in cabbage and green onions. Cover; refrigerate until ready to serve.
  • About 30 minutes before serving, remove beef from slow cooker; place on cutting board. Shred beef with 2 forks; return to slow cooker to keep warm.
  • Heat oven to 450°F. Make and bake biscuits as directed on pouches, making 8 biscuits per package.
  • To serve, split biscuits in half. Spoon about 1/2 cup beef mixture over each biscuit; top with about 3 tablespoons coleslaw.

This recipe came from a church friend who makes this for potluck dinners. Both kids and adults like this a lot and it always disappears.

1 lb lean ground beef
1 clove garlic, minced
1 medium onion, chopped
1 can(s) (28 ounces) baked beans, undrained
1/2 c bbq sauce
1/4 c brown sugar, firmly packed
1/4 c catsup
salt and pepper to taste
1 can(s) refrigerated biscuits, (6 biscuits)
1 c shredded cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • 1. Brown beef, garlic, and onion is a skillet until all pink is gone and onions are tender. Drain. Add beans, BBQ sauce, brown sugar, catsup, and salt and pepper. Simmer for 5-6 minutes or until hot through-out.
  • 2. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Pour meat mixture into a 7 by 11 inch casserole. Separate biscuits and slice them in half, making 2 thinner circles of each biscuit. Place biscuits on top of meat mixture. Bake for 18 minutes. Remove from oven and top biscuits with cheese. Return to oven for 3-5 minutes or until cheese has melted. Serve immediately.

1 can(s) refrigerated, ready to bake, buttermilk biscuits
1.5-2 lb ground beef
1 medium onion, diced
14-16 oz can of bbq beans, baked beans or pork and beans
10 oz can condensed tomato soup
1 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp garlic salt
1 c shredded cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • 1. In a large frying pan, brown the ground beef and onion; drain. Stir in beans, soup and seasonings. Bring to a simmer.
  • 2. While the meat mixture simmers, bake refrigerated biscuits according to their package directions.
  • 3. When the biscuits are done, split in half. Spoon the meat mixture on one half of the biscuit and top with shredded cheese. Put the other half of the biscuit on top of the cheese to form a sandwich. Enjoy!

1 small green pepper, chopped
1/2 c BBQ sauce
1 can of refrigerated biscuits
1/2 c shredded cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Brown meat with peppers in a large skillet. Stir in BBQ sauce. Spray 12 count muffin tin with non stick cooking spray. Press 1 biscuit into each cup. Spoon meat mixture evenly over biscuits. Bake 10 minutes. Remove and sprinkle tops with cheese. Bake an additional 3-5 minutes until biscuits are brown and cheese is melted.
