CHERRY ALMOND BARS
Steps:
- HEAT oven to 350 degrees F. Line bottom and sides of 8 x 8-inch pan with foil, extending foil over edges of pan. Coat lightly with no-stick cooking spray.
- STIR together flour, brown sugar and salt until mixed. Add oil, water and almond extract. Combine with fork until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Pat evenly in bottom of prepared pan.
- BAKE 15 minutes.
- SPREAD preserves evenly over warm crust. Mix almonds, brown sugar and oil until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle over top of preserves.
- BAKE 20 minutes. Cool completely. Lift out of pan using foil. Cut into 16 bars. Store in refrigerator.

- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt coating, stir until smooth. Add cherries and almonds. Spread onto a foil-lined baking sheet. Refrigerate until firm. Break into pieces.

Steps:
- Take Almond Bark and place 4 squares of white and or chocolate into microwave bowl. You may use Wilton Rounds too!
- Cook one minute, stir then continue to cook 30 second intervals.
- Have already prepared Maraschino Cherries drained and sitting on a paper towel to process. Also place on Aluminum foil to dry the almond Bark
- Take the maraschino cherries and hold by stem and dip at a 45 degree angle to cover the bottom of the cherries. Then place the dipped Cherry onto Aluminum foil to dry. You will know they are dry when they release from the foil. Arrange on a Candy tired dish for a beautiful presentation
- I buy the large jars of Maraschino Cherries at the Sam's Club, the Queen Anne have the stems. They do make a great gift and keep in fridge until ready to serve. Tupperware of Candy Tin Container. You can also serve them in a cupcake liner the small one or Chocolate and White in one container with sprinkles. They are beautiful.

What a cute tasty treat to keep on hand for the holidays! Package in clear cellophane bags and these would make a great party gift. I just see one problem... not eating them all before you give them to friends and family.

Steps:
- 1. Open package of Twizzlers, then cut the lengths in half. Easier to handle and more for the plate. Your preference as to the size of the Twizzlers and choice of Pull and Peel or Regular.
- 2. Start with 4 individual blocks of Vanilla or Chocolate almond bark.
- 3. Microwave 1 minute and then 30 second intervals until melted.
- 4. It is good to have a second bowl and dump sprinkles into - assembly line style.
- 5. Work quickly with the Twizzlers by rolling them in the almond bark mixture.
- 6. Now take the Twizzlers and roll in Christmas sprinkles and lay on aluminum lined cookie sheet until set. They are beautiful and do not last long around a crowd. The kids love them.
