4 cups fresh pineapple chunks (( or 1 whole fresh pineapple))
4 cups cold water
4 Tbsp white sugar (see note)

Steps:

  • Cut the pineapple into chunks
  • Please the 4 cups of pineapple chunks in a blender with 1 or 2 cups of water.
  • Blend until smooth all of the chunks have blended. About 1 minute.
  • Strain mixture into a bowl then transfer the pineapple water to a pitcher. Skip this step If you want to keep the pulp in the drink.
  • Add the remaining of the water and sugar. Mix well.
  • Taste and add more sugar or water if needed.
  • Enjoy drink over some ice!

3 cucumbers, peeled and chopped
½ cup freshly squeezed lime juice
¼ cup granular sucralose sweetener (such as Splenda®), or to taste

Steps:

  • Blend 2 cups water, cucumbers, lime juice, and 2 tablespoons sweetener together in a blender until smooth. Pour into pitcher; add remaining water. Stir in additional sweetener to taste.

3 quarts water
3 English cucumbers, peeled and coarsely sliced
7 limes, juiced to yeild 1/2 cup worth
1/4 cup sugar, or more

Steps:

  • Put 1/2 cup of water in a blender container with 1 cup of sliced cucumber. Blend. Add more cucumber and blend. Continue until all the cucumbers are pureed.
  • Strain the cucumber juice of its seeds into a very large pitcher. Add the remaining water, lime juice, and sugar, to taste. Chill before serving.

I love aguas and this one is a little different. The mint makes it refreshing. Note: To make your glasses look festive you can wet the rim of the glass with water, juice or by running a lime or lemon along the rim. Then, dip the glass in decorative sugar of your choice.

3 cups fresh pineapple chunks, 1-inch pieces (1 small or 1/2 of 1 large pineapple)
1/4 cup fresh lime juice
1/2-1 tablespoon minced of fresh mint
1/3 cup sugar
2 cups club soda, well chilled
ice
6 mint sprigs

Steps:

  • Place pineapple, lime juice, mint and sugar in blender container.
  • Blend on High until mixture is frothy, about 30 seconds to 1 minute.
  • Pour into a tall pitcher. Add club soda and stir once or twice to mix. Immedieately pour itno 6 sugar-dipped ice-filled glasses. Garnish each serving with a mint sprig.
