VELVEETA Cheeseburger Mac image

I love cheese and this is far better than the box kind! Made with Velveeta! recipe source~ kraft.com

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 lb ground beef
2 3/4 c water
1/3 c ketchup
1 tsp onion powder
2 c elbow macaroni, uncooked
1/2 lb (8 oz.) velveeta , cut into 1/2-inch cubes
salt and pepper to taste

Steps:

  • 1. In large non-stick skillet, brown the beef, salt and pepper to taste; drain.
  • 2. In large saucepan, add the water, ketchup and onion powder and mix until well blended. Bring to a boil and stir in elbow's, cover and simmer on medium-low until macaroni is tender, about 8 minutes.
  • 3. Stir in the Velveeta cheese and cook until thoroughly melted. 10 points per serving
