These Traditional Newfoundland Snowballs are a favourite by many people, they are a small round coconut chocolate snowball best served frozen, so delicious.

Steps:
- Extra 1 1/2 cups of unsweetened coconut to roll snowballs in when made. In a large saucepan, combine sugar, butter and evaporated milk. Start the boiling on these ingredients on medium heat for 5 minutes until all the mixture reaches 230°f on a candy thermometer or until bubbling. Turn off heat then start mixing the dry ingredients in with the wet mixture, oat, 1 cup coconut, and Cocoa continue mixing until all ingredients are combined then let cool for at less 2 hours. Then roll your mixture in 1 inch balls, then roll the snowballs into your 1 1/2 cups of extra coconut until all your mixture are completed. Makes about 5 dozen snowballs, store your snowballs in the fridge or freezer. Please Note: You can substitute evaporated milk with another milk type. The amount of time to make the snowballs including cooling time will be about 2 1/2 hours.
