TOMATOES AND MOZZARELLA image

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 M red tomato
1 M yellow tomato
4 oz fresh mozzarella
1 C chopped fresh basil
1 T balsamic vinegar
1/2 t sea salt
1/4 t freshly ground black pepper

Steps:

  • 1. Slice ea. tomato into 4 equal slices. 2. Cut the mozzarella into 8 thin slices, ea. weighing 1/2 oz. 3. combine the basil, vinegar, salt, and pepper in a S bowl and toss together. 4. place 1 tomato slice on a plate and top w/ 1 mozzarella slice. All together 3 tomato slices and 2 slices of cheese. 5. Top ea. with 1/4 C basil-vinegar mixture.
