This is so good and easy to make. The best part about this recipe is that you don't have to cook the chicken first. My family really loves this dish. I have a young daughter, so I like to cut my chicken into small bite size pieces and mix them in with the rice mixture, but you don't have too. I some times use just cheddar cheese, if I don't have any provolone and it's just as wonderful.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 375. Grease a 9x13 dish and set aside.
- Mix all the ingredients except for the chicken, butter and cheese in a large bowl. Then pour the mixture into the greased 9x13 dish.
- Place the uncooked chicken on top of the rice mixture. Cut the butter into small pieces and place them on top in between the chicken. Cook for 1 1/2 hours. The last 15 minutes pull it out a place the provolone cheese on top, so it will melt and brown just a little .
