Tequila Marinade image

This came from Bon Appetit and is just superb!!! I can't stress how wonderful this marinade is!!! It originally calls to be a beef marinade, but I think would be good with pork or chicken, too.

Number Of Ingredients 10

1/2 cup fresh lime juice
1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro
1/2 cup olive oil
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup tequila
7 cloves garlic, minced
2 teaspoons grated lime zest
2 teaspoons ground cumin
2 teaspoons ground oregano
1 teaspoon ground black pepper

Steps:

  • Combine ingredients and marinate meat for 2-4 hours.
  • (If a flank steak, do even longer- up to overnight).
