Tea-Time Truffles/Rum Balls image

This is a recipe that's a must during Christmas. I make it every year, especially because it is my daughter's favorite.

Number Of Ingredients 6

5 cup(s) chocolate cake rumbs
1/2 cup(s) chopped raisins or currants
2 tablespoon(s) cocoa powder
3 1/2 tablespoon(s) warmed & sieved apricot jam
1 tablespoon(s) dark rum
- enough chocolate sprinkles for 15 rum balls

Steps:

  • Mix 1st 3 ingredients in a large bowl. Add jam, rum & mix them well to form a stiff paste.
  • Form into balls & roll immediately in the sprinkles & set aside in refrigerator or serve immediately.
  • ENJOY !!!!!
