Tartar Sauce (my own recipe) image

This is a simple and quick recipe for a basic tartar sauce. Some prefer dill relish while others like sweet. I use dill but use what you like. Very versatile on most any seafood and also as a sandwich spread!

Time 5m

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 c mayonnaise
1 Tbsp dill relish (could use sweet if preferred)
1 Tbsp fine minced green onion - use some of the green tops too
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp prepared horseradish - add more if desired
1/2 tsp dried dill weed
Small dash(es) worcestershire sauce ( a few drops)

Steps:

  • 1. Mince onion very fine. Be sure and add some of the green tops...mince it well. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. Make sure it's thoroughly blended.
