Sriracha Maple Bacon image

Bloggers Adam and Joanne Gallagher from Inspired Taste brush bacon slices with a spicy maple glaze, then bake 'em. Servings # 4

Number Of Ingredients 5

12 bamboo skewers
2 tablespoons Sriracha sauce
2 tablespoons real maple or maple-flavored syrup
12 slices thick-sliced bacon
Chopped green onions, if desired

Steps:

  • Soak bamboo skewers in water at least 30 minutes.
  • Heat oven to 400°F. Place wire cooling rack in 15x10x1-inch pan.
  • In small bowl, stir together Sriracha sauce and syrup. Thread 1 bacon slice on each skewer; place on rack in pan. Brush both sides of bacon with sauce mixture.
  • Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until bacon is golden brown and crispy. Garnish with onions.
